MIA Bubbe

 

Greetings and salutations from your MIA Bubbe, with a quick status report and a question.

I received an email last night from a concerned reader, wondering if I was okay, as I hadn't posted an article in a while. I have never been considered a missing person before, so this was quite flattering. 

Here's the sitch: I've been distracted by the many recent holidays, as well as my family's various minor health issues. The only serious one is my sweet dog, Pearl, who is hanging tough with her chemo treatments– no tumor growth since January.

I also was focused on helping with my 45th high school reunion, which was held last week. If you've never gone to a high school reunion, I highly recommend it. Even if you didn't actually love high school itself, or didn't graduate from that school, it's a chance to see people from your childhood. You’ll be amazed at how quickly the time has gone by–and how much your classmates resemble their parents, although of course YOU still look the same (or better)!

Now that I have reported my status, I have a question for YOU.

What's a question or topic that you'd really like Bubbe to address? I write a lot about each new card, switching hands, the Charleston, endgame/defensive strategies…is there something else you want to ask, or is there a specific question about one of the above topics that you want me to cover?
